Meals on Wheels:Family Services’ Meals On Wheels program is the oldest continuously operating Meals On Wheels program in Montgomery County. In recent years we have averaged approximately 400 clients and 100,000 meals served per year. All of that has been accomplished with a paid staff of three people and a wonderful volunteer staff of over 200 compassionate and dedicated people.

Our services normally include a hot lunch and cold supper delivered five days a week in the Pottstown, Royersford and Lower Perkiomen Valley areas. Most frequently the recipients of the meals are 60 years of age or handicapped/disabled persons. This is sometimes a temporary service during an emergency or recuperative period, and in other situations it is provided on a long-term basis.

For more information on Meals on Wheels, please call the Family Services' High Street Office at 610-326-1610.
