No one is too old for Sunday School!

The Shenkel Board of Christian Education oversees all aspects of Christian education in the church.

This includes the Sunday School program, Kids Club, Youth Group, and special programs such as

confirmation, Bible study, and special speakers.

The Board consists of 6 members plus the Sunday School Superintendents.

Have you cleaned out your closets lately??

As many of you may know…a team of Shenkel women are in the process of creating a New and Exciting Sunday School program at our church and we are in need of a few items to help us in preparation for the launch of this program in January. We would like to help you get motivated to get organized as well as help out our children's’ program at Shenkel…Please let us know if you are able to donate any of the following items?

Kitchen aprons (any size and color)

Plastic or Rubber fruit or vegetables (decorative)

Kitchen Table

Wall pictures (Kitchen décor)

Fake Plants

Kids Musical instruments (Thimbels, tambourines, hand drums, etc…)

Old Records/CD’s

Sheet Music (any type of music)

Old board games with missing pieces!! (the more missing the better!)

Movie Posters (church appropriate)

DVD Player

Smaller Speakers that can be hooked up to a DVD player

Puppets

Clothing Rack (Free standing on wheels preferred)

Beanbag/Comfy kids chairs

Biblical Props

Black-Out Shade

Tupperware Bins (any size)

Cardboard boxes with lids from Copier Paper

Button –Down long sleeve shirts (can be Youth, Women or Men sizes)

Chalkboard Paint

Color Diffusion Paper

Washable Tempera Paint

Liquid Watercolors (variety of colors)

Squirt Bottles

Masking Tape

Artsy pictures/wall hangings
