Safe Church Policy Training

SAFE CHURCH POLICY

On March 10, 2010, Consistory adopted the Safe Church Policy in order to provide a safe environment for the children, youth and adults of our congregation as they participate in our programs and use our facilities. Identical training sessions for the Safe Church Policy will be held on. If you will be teaching Sunday School, working in the nursery, or working with the youth of our congregation in any capacity, you will be expected to attend at least one of the sessions of training. However, all members are welcome to attend either session to learn how the Safe Church Policy will help to keep us all safe here at Shenkel UCC.


    

 

   Do you like to scrapbook, make cards, or just need something new to do that could also be a form of ministry?

     Join the Church's new Card Making Ministry!!! This is an opportunity to not only make cards for your own purposes, but also to make cards for people within the Shenkel community who will be blessed by receiving one. The sessions will be led by Angie Haslett and Close to My Heart Consultant, Joyce Houck. They will be held on the second Monday of every month starting in July from 6:30 pm-8:30 pm. The cost is $8.00 per a person, which includes all card making supplies. Please contact AngieHaslett know by the prior Friday if you plan to attend. Come out and join us for a great time!
